Why choose PCDi for your GoldMine project?
PCDi started out as GoldMine users not resellers.
Our original business was supplying and supporting our own range of servers and PCs to small/medium local businesses. We provided a "part time" IT department for local companies that were too small to justify their own full time IT department.
High quality value for money service were why our customers came to us. Our rapid expansion meant our ability to provide the quality of product and service customers were used to was threatened.
We desperately needed a contact management or customer relationship management solution. Sales and marketing automation would be a welcome bonus, but lack of sales was not the biggest business pain at that time.
We investigated and tried many different products.
With over 600 applications to choose from there was no shortage of contenders - finding the right one was the problem.
I first encountered GoldMine at a Microsoft Partner Road Show when I wandered into a demonstration by Andy Voss. I left 45 minutes later feeling like I had had a vision - the answer to my prayer. In my hand I clutched a demo disk and a dealer application pack.
The GoldMine Reseller offer was an incredible bargain. 10 days in the classroom to become qualified to implement and support GoldMine, plus 8 licenses. If I has signed up as a customer I would have paid three times as much and not gained a fraction of the skill set that the superb GoldMine training provided.
I signed on the dotted line and we said good bye to ACT! without a backward glance and with no intention of being a GoldMine reseller.
GoldMine was an immediate hit with our staff - within a couple of months our customers started to notice the improvement to our service. It was not long before they started asking what we had done and asking if we could work the same transformation for them - we had become GoldMine dealers after all. Within a few years we shifted the focus of the business away from being a local IT outfit to being purely a GoldMine CRM reseller.

These days most CRM resellers sell a range of CRM from different vendors. However the CRM they use themselves is usually their high end and most complex solution.
