ACCESS ON-LINE TO INFORMATION
GoldenWap enables the access on-line to database information, allowing to view a contact's information in real time from the mobile device.
PDA AND WAP COMPATIBILITY
Information can be managed from a PDA with a Internet Browser or a mobile phone with a Wap Browser.
ACCESS TO CONTACT DATABASE
From the Setup Screen, you can instruct GoldenWap which fields have to be shown in the contact record for each user. This includes the primary data (Contact1) and also the User Defined Fields (Contact2) allowing you to show over the PDA or Phone the specific information for your business.
ACCESS TO ADDITIONAL DATA
GoldenWap is able to show other relevant information from a contact record in GoldMine. This is the Notes tab, the Additional Contacts tab, Fields tab, Pending tab and History Tab.
ACCESS TO CALENDAR
GoldenWap can show the GoldenWap agenda in real-time, allowing to share information between central offices and the mobile user. Calendar can be modified by user in the field or form GoldMine and the information will be shared instantly.
COMPLETION OF ACTIVITIES
GoldenWap allows to complete an activity like an appointment, call or next action from the mobile device. This allows users to report visit results directly on the field and writing down relevant information of the meeting just the next minute it is finished.
SECURITY
GoldenWap has different levels of security that guarantee the preservation of your information and ensuring a high security standard:
- USER AUTHENTICATION. Each user has to enter userid and password to login into database.
- MOBILE AUTHENTICATION. You can instruct GoldenWap to uniquely identify the mobile phone that is connecting your database, and deny access if it is other than the registered one.
- DATABASE FILTERING. GoldenWap allows filtering the database for a given user. For instance, our sales rep in the north region can be filtered to see only the records that belong to his area.
- NO LOCAL DATABASES. GoldenWap does keep all the information in the Company's Central System, avoiding the leak of sensible information.
- FIREWALL FRIENDLY. GoldenWap does not use other channel that port 80 (Web browsing) to navigate through data. This enables to keep control of intruders out of your system and keep compatibility with your firewall system.
